Google Ads Introduces Two-Tier Penalty System for Child Safety Policy Violations
· 1h ago · Originally reported by PPC Land
Starting January 11, Google Ads will separate child safety violations into two categories. Non-sexual child nudity will result in a warning period of at least seven days, while content involving abuse will continue to trigger immediate account suspension.
Why it matters
This change clarifies enforcement and gives advertisers a chance to correct less severe violations before facing suspension, while maintaining strict action against the most serious offenses.
Explain it like I’m new here
Google is making new rules so small mistakes get a warning, but really bad stuff still gets you kicked out right away.
