Amazon Ads
Amazon's ad arm: sponsored listings on the store, Prime Video ads, Twitch, and a DSP for the open web.

What Amazon Ads does
Amazon Ads sells the ads you see while shopping on Amazon (sponsored products and brands in search results), ads in Prime Video, Twitch and Fire TV, and audio ads. It also runs Amazon DSP, which buys ads across other websites and apps using Amazon's shopping data.
Because Amazon sees what people actually buy, it can link an ad to a sale in a way most media owners cannot. That closed-loop measurement made it the model for every retail media network that followed, and Prime Video ads made it a major force in CTV.
How it makes money
Advertisers pay per click for sponsored products on Amazon's store, and per impression for video, display and DSP buys. Amazon reports it as its own advertising services segment.
Where it meets invalid traffic
Monitors traffic on its store and DSP for bots and invalid clicks; Amazon DSP integrates third-party verification from partners such as DoubleVerify and IAS.
