What Equativ does
Equativ, known until 2022 as Smart AdServer, provides publisher ad serving and an SSP, plus a buyer platform for curated deals. It merged with US native-ad SSP Sharethrough in 2024, giving it more scale in North America.
It is owned by private-equity firm Bridgepoint and is one of Europe's largest independent sell-side players.

Ad-serving fees and a share of media spend on its exchange.

Runs supply-quality controls and is TAG-certified for fraud and brand safety.
