NABP accreditation approved as second Google telehealth ad certifier in US, UK and Canada
· 2h ago · Originally reported by PPC Land
Google is accepting NABP accreditation as an alternative certification for telemedicine advertisers running ads in the US, UK and Canada. The accreditation costs $1,075 per website, and Google has not yet said when applications will open. This gives telehealth advertisers a second route to comply with Google's verification requirements.
Why it matters
Telemedicine is a heavily restricted ad category on Google, and advertisers must verify legitimacy before their ads can run. Adding a second recognized certifier could lower barriers for legitimate telehealth providers competing in a high-value ad vertical.
Explain it like I’m new here
It's like Google saying you can now prove you're a real doctor with a second accepted ID badge instead of only one.
