Google Updates UAE CFD and Forex Ad Policy to Require Specific Licences
· 1h ago · Originally reported by PPC Land
Google will now require UAE-based CFD and forex advertisers to hold one of three specific licences to run ads. Starting October 21, UAE crypto exchanges can use a federal CMA licence, but the VARA licence is not accepted for CFD ads.
Why it matters
This change affects how financial services and crypto exchanges advertise online in the UAE, tightening compliance and potentially limiting ad access for some firms.
Explain it like I’m new here
It's like only letting drivers with certain types of licenses use a special road, so only approved companies can show these ads.
