What Kochava does
Kochava provides app attribution and analytics, plus data marketplace products. It is one of the older independent MMPs.
In 2022 the US Federal Trade Commission sued it, alleging it sold precise location data that could reveal visits to sensitive places such as health clinics; Kochava contested the case. It became a landmark example in the debate over data broker practices.
