Google Eases Image Quality Restrictions for Merchant Center Listings
· 1h ago · Originally reported by PPC Land
Google will no longer block ads or free listings in Merchant Center due to blurry or pixelated product images. However, a minimum image size requirement of 500 x 500 pixels will remain in effect starting January 31, 2027.
Why it matters
This change could make it easier for more merchants to advertise products, but may also affect the visual quality of ads and listings users see.
Explain it like I’m new here
It's like a store letting you put up your posters even if they're a bit blurry, as long as they're big enough.
