What Acxiom does
Acxiom is one of the oldest consumer data companies, helping brands organise customer records and enrich them with third-party data. Interpublic (IPG) bought Acxiom's marketing solutions business in 2018 (the rest became LiveRamp).
With Omnicom's acquisition of IPG in November 2025, Acxiom joined Omnicom's data stack alongside Omni.
How it makes money
Data, identity and data-management services sold to brands and agency clients.
Where it meets invalid traffic
Primarily a data provider; fraud detection is not its core business.
