What PubTrust does
PubTrust protects websites from bad ads. A publisher adds one script tag, and PubTrust judges the bids and creatives coming through header bidding before they render on the page. Ads that are malicious, deceptive or off-limits are blocked and replaced with a fallback, so the slot is not left empty.
It starts in Monitor mode, so a publisher can see what would have been blocked before switching protection on. That matters because one malvertising redirect or scam ad can cost a site its readers' trust far faster than it earns revenue.
How it makes money
Subscription fees from publishers, typically scaled to the volume of ad impressions protected.
Where it meets invalid traffic
Works on the supply side: it screens incoming bids and creatives for malvertising, cloaked redirects and low-quality ads before render, complementing buyer-side IVT checks.
