What are the biggest DSPs?
The largest demand-side platforms are Google's Display & Video 360, Amazon DSP and The Trade Desk, which is the biggest independent DSP and reported $13.4 billion of gross spend on its platform in 2025. Other players include Yahoo DSP and several regional and specialist DSPs. Microsoft shut its Invest DSP in February 2026 and partnered with Amazon DSP.
Rankings depend on what you measure: gross spend, revenue or reach. Google and Amazon do not break out DSP spend, so exact comparisons are not possible. The Trade Desk's figures come from its annual results; it charges a platform fee rather than buying media itself.
The DSP market has consolidated: Verizon Media's DSP became Yahoo DSP, and Microsoft's Invest (formerly Xandr and AppNexus) closed on 28 February 2026, with Microsoft naming Amazon DSP as its preferred partner while keeping its Monetize SSP and Curate tools.
